Can a toning belt really firm your abs?

Toning belts have been around for many years already, and the technology has been proven in medical studies around the world to help strengthen targetted muscle groups. Thanks to advacements in this technology, toning belts will help to tone your muscles if you stick to a training regime. You should be using it 5 days a week, leaving 2 for rest days, and each session lasts 20-30 minutes. Historically, toning belts were nothing more than adhesive pads that you would stick to your body and then attach several cables to each one. Not only does this make it time consuming to setup, but there is no guarantee the pads are placed in the correct location, and its hardly the most discreet looking training accessory. However, in recent years these have evolved into comfortable belts. All of the electronics are inside the belt so you do not have to fiddle with anything before you fit one. The pads are replaceable, and you only need to unstick them from the belt and put the new ones on - they are usually outlined so you know exactly where to put them. The belts are perfectly safe to use, and when using them you will only notice a comfortable forced tensing of the abdominal muscles. As with any exercise regime, you should try to use the belt alongside other forms of exercise, such as walking, running or cycling. You should notice the results of using the belt from 4-8 weeks, as long as you stick to it.
