What are website Templates
Website Templates and their purpose often confuse people. However, they are a powerful and very quick way of getting an online web presence. There are many different kind of website templates, however, their main use remains the same; they provide an out-of-the-box way to generate a personlised website. The template files usually come with the bundle you buy, which means to have access to photosho files, or flash animations, and other source code so you can fully customize them as needed. For example, if you run a special promotion on your site at halloween, you would need to redesign your website from scratch. Alternatively, you could purchase a ready made halloween template thats done it for you. You will need to update the content links, and html but the design has been done for you and this is usually the most time consuming part. They usually cost in the region of $5 - $60 although sometimes you can pick them up for free. For this cost, and the time involved with making a new website design, its always worth considering picking up a template.
