What is a reborn doll?
A reborn doll is a vinyl baby doll that has been customized by a process of repainting and enhancement to resemble a human baby. The process of creating a reborn doll is referred to as reborning. Reborn babies bring happiness and comfort to your home and can be an exciting experience to the entire family. This is the main reason why these dolls are selling like hot cakes in all countries. The price of the custom doll largely depends on the size, quality and the material used. Different types and sizes of reborns are available in different stores all over the world. A good lifelike doll always looks genuine and they usually seem to have a certain emotion. You can also get a sleeping baby, smiling babies, crying babies, and many more. These lifelike babies are for all age groups. The technique of reborning has evolved over the past five years, as hobbyists and doll artists have refined the painting techniques and added technical enhancements, such as a heartbeat simulator. More recently, special reborn doll kits are available, as are mechanical enhancements such as a battery powered breathing mechanism to simulate the breathing movements of a sleeping baby. The main difference between the reborn babies and other dolls is their similarity with real babies. No one can easily find any difference in the appearance, size, open nostrils, fingers, nails, or eyes, between a lifelike doll and an original baby. Even weight of the baby is same to that of original baby. Usually, the dress of the dolls is right with the current trend with all baby outfits.
For a more realistic appearance you can even get your reborn baby with a heart beat, breathing ability and body movements. Altogether, they can very much resemble a real baby.
